yeah, you are probably right, it was a good doctor but he wasnt especialized in that at all, i bet i knew more about hyperhidrosis than him, im looking for a place that especialize in hyperhidrosis so i can hopefully get them done and work this time
I would try a different doctor. If he is not a reputable doctor he likley did the injections wrong. Botox has worked amazingly for me although I did not have an extremley bad case of hyperhydrosis ( they didnt drip but got were extremley clammy almost all the time). I would not give up on botox I have heard some people do not respond sometimes on their first injections or if the injections are done improperly results will be lack luster.
Dermatologist, had it done for second time about 3 months ago for my palmar sweating. I have had amazing results of 90-95% sweat reduction. I agree botox isnt the ideal solution with costs and having to have it done about once every 8 months. However it is a strong alternative to help while more safe permanent cures are being made. ETS has to many negative side effects in my opinion to be considered a good resolution for people with hyperhydrosis.
My question is, What doctor should I see about getting botox injections for Hyperhidrosis. A Dermatologist, Plastic Surgery, or just my medical Dr? I’ve already tried using Drysol but that doesn’t help one bit for my severe case. I’m ready to give botox a good try.
i have a very severy case of palmar hyperhidrosis and i had the botox injeccions proceedure in both hands and feet last tuesday ( june / 9 / 09 ), and the doctor told me that i was gonna see results in about 4 - 6 days, but my hands are still sweating alot!, it made no diference at all, can you help me please?

You are very articulate doctor, thanks so much for guiding me I leave with this condition and am 33 years old and cry day and night and don’t know what to do but I don’t any doctor that will actually use as much as botox as you specified in toronto canada if you know any can you please let me know????
